Albemarle County Firefighters are looking into the cause of an early morning house fire in the 1600 block of Old Free Union Road.
The fire broke out in the basement shortly after 5 AM. Tuesday and quickly spread to the attic of the home.
One person was at home at the time of the fire. He escaped unharmed.
Firefighters had to use tanker trucks to get water to the scene.
Investigators are trying to pinpoint the exact cause of the fire.
Nobody was hurt.
