Man Pleads Guilty to Fluvanna Co. Robberies

An Amherst County man facing charges in more than a dozen localities has pleaded guilty in Fluvanna County.

Kevin Burchardt has pleaded guilty to sixteen different charges, all related to robberies.

He is facing dozens of other charges across Central Virginia.

Police say Burchardt targeted homes in 19 jurisdictions by staking out homes and even posing as a police officer.

He will be sentenced for the Fluvanna Co. charges in February.
