A Nelson County man has pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing methamphetamines, as well as possessing firearms while possessing methamphetamine.
Thomas Massie Huffman of Davis' Creek gave his guilty pleas on Tuesday before the case went to a jury for deliberation.
The Nelson County Sheriff's Office began investigating Huffman in April of 2012 when officers arranged for an undercover informant to purchase methamphetamines from Huffman.
A search warrent for Huffman's property revealed over 193 grams of methampthetamines, over $14,000 in cash, digital scales and 16 firearms.
Huffman is scheduled to be sentenced in March. Each distribution charge carries up to 40 years in prison and the firearm charge carries a mandatory, minimum 5 year sentence.
