Hundreds of people in Greene County chose to wind down the weekend with wine.

The county's wine festival features five wineries and 20 vendors and music all under one tent Saturday and Sunday.

Whether it was a Mother's Day treat, a family event or just to bring the kids for a picnic outside, veterans and first-timers say this wine festival has a home-like feel and lots to offer.

"It's always fun to shop around at the vendors," said Jenny Jarman, an Orange County resident. "Hopefully there are some local artists so we can pick up some local crafts, or it's just kinda fun to walk around. And also to try some wines from wineries that we've never experienced."

More than 600 people stopped by throughout the two-day festival.
