The wintry mix of weather caused a lot of traffic accidents on Wednesday, and now car mechanics are busy today.
A Charlottesville family business, Bragg's Body Shop, says eight cars are in because of the slippery roads yesterday.
That's more than double what they usually see.
Owner Wayne Bragg says they're seeing mostly front end damage at his shop. The bill for that kind of work tends to range from $3,000 to $6,000, and you'll be without your car about two weeks for those kinds of repairs
"It's a little hard to keep up because we're so busy. But we feel blessed. We can't complain about work. That's what we're here for."
Bragg recommends checking your tires, slowing down, and not following other cars too closely to prevent a trip to his shop.
