Medical Volunteers Offering Services at Community Health Fair

July 26, 2013

The Charlottesville Community Health Fair is offering some free services this weekend to help residents stay healthy.

The health fair takes place from 10 AM to 2 PM at Booker T. Washington Park on Saturday.

Over a hundred volunteers will be on-hand, offering various health screenings and providing health information.

The fair is offering free sports physical exams for middle and high school students, though you need to register in advanced by calling 434-243-2079.

Mammogram screenings are being offered, which require an appointment made by calling 434-243-4704. You must be at least 40-years-old, and have no prior breast problems to receive a mammogram screening. Please bring your health insurance card to cover costs. Programs will be available to cover the cost if you do not have insurance.

More information is available on the event flyer, attached below.
