Two new restaurants, a frozen yogurt shop, and an AT&T store are coming to Barracks Road Shopping Center in Charlottesville.
The new stores will be located in the new section of the shopping center currently under construction. That location used to be home to a Shell gas station.
In addition to the AT&T store, Zoës Kitchen, Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, and Cups Frozen Yogurt will join the shopping center.
Zoës Kitchen is described as a fast-casual restaurant that serves Mediterranean-inspired food. Zoës Kitchen has several locations across the United States. It currently has four restaurants in Northern Virginia.
Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar is described as an upscale casual dining restaurant offering made-to-order gourmet burgers paired with wine selections. There are currently only three other Zinburger locations, all in New Jersey. However, the restaurant's website indicates there are plans to expand Zinburger to North Carolina, Florida, New York, Georgia, and Charlottesville.
Cups Frozen Yogurt is described as a beach-themed frozen yogurt shop. It is a self-serve shop with 24 yogurt flavors ad more than 50 different toppings. Cups has several other locations, all in New York and New Jersey.
It is expected to be 10-12 months before the new section of Barracks Road is complete.
