Wings come in all different flavors and this weekend local restaurants will be serving them by the thousands.
"I think we average, in the past few years over 15,000 chicken wings each Superbowl Sunday," said John Hoberg, assistant manager at Wild Wing Cafe.
Hoberg says the store currently has about 10,000 wings in stock and another 15,000 are being shipped Friday.
The Superbowl is the years biggest televised event. But will there be enough of the popular party favorite to go around?
"I think we'll be alright. I'll purchasing price has gone up as it tend to this time of year but will certainly have enough chicken for everybody to eat," said Hoberg.
Why is there a worry that there will be a shortage of wings? "I really have to believe that's its kind of the market dictating what they want,"said Hoberg. "They know they are going to be selling a lot of chicken this weekend so I think they can kind of play their cards to raise their prices.
Hoberg says you wont find Wild Wing Cafe raising their prices.
