Still No Charges in Charlottesville Elks Club Shooting

March 25, 2013

The investigation continues into a shooting at the Elks Club in Charlottesville.

Charlottesville Police say they have not filed any charges in the March 16 incident.

Two men were shot outside the Elks Club. Police say Frank Brown allegedly shot Leon Brock and was about to fire another shot, when an officer fired at Brown, wounding him.

Brown is listed in fair condition at the University of Virginia Medical Center. A hospital spokesman would not release Brock's condition, nor would he say if Brock has been discharged.

Police say they are continuing to gather information.
