Police Sources: UVa Student Took 'Molly'

Sept. 6, 2013

Police in Washington, DC are investigating if the death of University of Virginia student Mary Shelley Goldsmith might be related to cases in other cities.

Goldsmith's death is still under investigation, but police sources told the Washington Post that she took a drug called Molly, which is similar to Ecstasy.

Police in Boston and New York have linked three deaths since last week to the drug, possibly from the same batch.
