June 6, 2013

Police in Central Virginia hit the streets Thursday afternoon, but not for a traditional crime patrol.

Officers took part in the Virginia Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics.

The torch made its way from Nelson County to Charlottesville and Albemarle County, and passed through the Downtown Mall around 6:30 PM.
