Program Offering Free Home Safety Evaluations for Seniors

June 27, 2014

Home Instead Senior Care is conducting free home safety evaluations as part of National Safety Month.

This is an opportunity to protect the health and well-being of seniors in Central Virginia.

Experts say the most common accidents in homes are falls, which typically happen in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, or on stairs.

Home Instead is offering a free home evaluation to help protect seniors.

"As we age we all have a strong desire to remain as independent as possible and in our homes for as long as possible,” says Certified Senior Advisor Christine Shaw. “Having a home safe of slip and trip hazards is certainly a way of making that happen."

If you'd like to schedule a free home evaluation, contact Home Instead Senior Care in Charlottesville at (434) 979-4663.
