The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors want to hear from the public one more time before taking a vote on whether to support recommendations put forth by a panel tasked with coming up with ideas to alleviate congestion on Route 29.

On Tuesday, panel facilitator Philip Schucet presented a $203 million plan to improve the corridor at a meeting with the Commonwealth Transportation Board.

The CTB will vote on the recommendations at a meeting on June 17.

The Metropolitan Planning Organization, which is the decision-maker as far as funding, will also need to approve the plan before it goes into action.

Supervisors Ann Mallek and Brad Sheffield are also part of the MPO.

The board of supervisors want to get community feedback before they take a vote deciding whether to support the proposed plan.

That public hearing is scheduled for May 27.
