A new report is criticizing the University of Virginia's governing board on last summer's attempted ouster of President Teresa Sullivan.
The report by the American Association of University Professors called the process a "crude exercise of naked power."
The report singled out Rector Helen Dragas, who orchestrated the attempted firing of Sullivan.
The Board of Visitors later reinstated Sullivan.
