The Sexual Assault Resource Agency hosted its annual Three-for-All three-legged race Saturday to raise awareness about sexual assault and sexual abuse.

The annual event has racers march along the Downtown Mall with in pairs of two, each with a leg tied to his or her partner's. The goal of the race is to show the importance of supporting each other and working together.

The race also gives an opportunity for victims of sexual abuse to take a stand in Charlottesville.

"It's one of the most important things for me all year because we get to raise awareness and we get to speak out against it. This happened to me and it's not okay and I'm going to let everybody know about it. And then to turn around and see such a big team behind me and so many supporters, it feels so good. It's very liberating," said Chelsea, a Greene County resident and victim of sexual assault.

More than 60 people took part in the annual event.
