A fire on Rocks Mountain in Shenandoah National Park has quickly grown to more than 100 acres.

The fire began on Friday afternoon, according to a press release from the National Park Service. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Firefighters are working to stop the fire from spreading outside of the park. A crew of nearly 60 people from a number of state and national agencies is working to fight the fire.

Because of the blaze, the Riprap, Wildcat Ridge and Rocks Mountain trails are all closed.
