Charlottesville police say shots were fired Friday morning on The Corner, near the University of Virginia.
Investigators say someone fired three shots outside of Mincer's apparel store shortly before 2:00 AM Friday morning.
Police officials say no one was hurt, and the school is not on lockdown. But there is a large bullet hole in the front window of the Mincer's apparel store.
Witnesses say the suspect crossed the street and walked toward Grounds. He is described as a black man in his twenties.
Investigators found two shell casings near the scene. They also worked to determine the trajectory of the shot that hit the window.
