Maybe you've noticed the student influx over the last week, well the first day of classes kicked off on Tuesday at the University of Virginia.
This year there are over 3,600 first-years who will be learning their way around grounds.
It is the largest first year class in UVa history.
A few third-years, however, itching to get the year started as they get closer to graduation.
“It's a more serious year, but I'm excited, I think it will be good,” says Natalie Barkley, 3rd year at UVa. “It's nice to be older and we kind of already figured everything out.”
“We all live over here now and everyone lives really close in all of their fraternity and sorority houses so it's really fun that everyone is close by and gets to hang out,” says Maeve Geismarn, also a 3rd year at the university.
Students are looking forward to catching up with old friends and making a few new ones along the way.
