Suspect in Fatal Buckingham Stabbing in Court

A Buckingham County man accused of stabbing and killing his girlfriend appeared in court on Friday.

Christopher Jerel Moseley will stay confined in the Piedmont Regional Jail. He has another court hearing set for June.

Moseley is accused of the stabbing death of his girlfriend, 18-year old Alexis Rose, in the parking lot of a grocery store in Dillwyn.

The Medical Examiner's Office has completed an autopsy on Rose, but is not yet releasing the findings.

Rose's family claims she was pregnant when she was killed.
