The Institute for Business and Society at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia is putting on a competition for local companies.
The Tayloe Murphy Resilience Award will go to five local businesses who who help their communities.
"This is a great way to recognize businesses who are providing jobs and stabilizing the local economies and who are out there in the communities doing great work." says Lisa Stewart from the Institue for Business and Society at Darden.
The deadline to apply or nominate your favorite small business is July 31, for information on how to apply, please follow the link here.
