Trial Continued for Elks Club Shooting Suspect

May 16, 2013

A court hearing for the man accused of shooting another man outside of the Elks Club has been continued to another date.

On Thursday, the court decided to reschedule the case against Frank D. Brown to May 30 due to medical reasons. Brown is still hospitalized, but has been moved to a hospital in the Richmond area.

Police say Brown shot Leon Brock outside the Elks Club on the Downtown Mall back in March. A Charlottesville Police officer shot and wounded Brown a short time later.
