For the 10th consecutive year, the University of Virginia holds onto its No. 2 ranking on the list of Top Public Universities.
UVa is tied with UCLA for the second spot.
The list, by U.S. News & World Report, also puts UVa in a tie for the No. 23 spot among the best national universities.
The School of Engineering and Applied Science was ranked in an eight-school tie at No. 35 among engineering schools whose highest degree is a doctorate.
The University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce is tied with New York University for the No. 5 spot among the best undergraduate business schools.
The system ranks graduation and retention rates, assessments by peers and counselors, and facility resources.
