Employees at the UVa Health System are helping to kick off February “Heart Month”.
Friday morning, the Medical Center hosted a Zumba class for interested employees.
The event was held to celebrate “Heart Month” and "Wear Red" day. Organizers say Zumba is a great way to get the heart pumping.
“A very fun way to exercise because it's very high energy,” said UVA employee Erin McElwain. “And it's so much fun and it really gets you going. A good way to start and exercise routine.”
About a dozen people took part in the morning class.
