UVa Final Exercises to Bring Extra Traffic to Charlottesville

May 17, 2013

Thousands of people will be in Charlottesville this weekend for Final Exercises, and that means a significant increase in traffic.

McCormick Road will be closed Saturday and Sunday morning, and parking will be at a premium around UVa grounds.

University officials are expecting a larger than normal turnout for Final Exercises this year.

They also say cell phone service could be impacted because of the large number of people in one place.
