The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will continue to have crews on duty throughout Wednesday to monitor roads.
Drivers can expect varying road conditions between Albemarle to Fauquier County, though mostly minor. Areas such as Madison and Rappahannock counties are likely to see snow on some their primary roads.
VDOT reminds motorists to drive slower in these slick conditions and to be extra wary of bridges, ramps, overpasses, as well as shady spots where ice may form.
VDOT also encourages drivers to use its 511 travel web site, www.511virginia.org, or their "511" mobile app for real-time traffic and weather information.
