HENRICO, Va. (AP) - Henrico County police say a sheriff's deputy faces cocaine possession and drunken driving charges after she was involved in a crash in her personal vehicle.

Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Doug Perry says 43-year-old Patricia R. Baran was arrested following the accident Thursday.

Media outlets report Baran faces charges of driving under the influence, refusing to take a breathalyzer test and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Baran, who has worked at the Henrico West Jail for more than five years, is free on bond.

It wasn't known whether she had an attorney. Baran didn't immediately return a telephone message Sunday.
