UPDATED: Police Arrest Fred William Quick

Albemarle County Police have arrested Fred William Quick Jr.

Police arrested Quick at a resident in northern Albemarle County, after receiving an anonymous tip.

Quick was wanted on several charges, including assault and battery, violation of probation, and failure to appear for a child support hearing.

He is being held without bond at the Charlottesville Albemarle Joint Security Complex.

The Waynesboro Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a career criminal who has evaded arrest for over three years.

44 -year-old Fred William Quick, Jr. is wanted by both the Waynesboro Police Department and Augusta County Sheriff's Office on six charges that date back to January 2010.

If anyone has information concerning his whereabouts, please contact the Waynesboro Police Department at 942-6675 or Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-2017.
