Four people arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies at the West Park Market in Albemarle County are headed to trial.
A grand jury indicted Wayne Martize Clark, of Ruckersville, on robbery charges on Tuesday. Police say he robbed the market on Four Seasons Drive four times over a ten month period that ended in October 2011.
Three other people accused of being accomplices in the crimes - Melissa Lynn Leake, of Earlysville; Khalil Ahmeen Thompson, of Barboursville; and Sara Catherine Davis, of Stanardsville - were also indicted Tuesday.
Police say the West Park Market was robbed at gunpoint in December 2010 and January, September and October of 2011. Customers provided eyewitness reports that led to the arrests.
