- The owner of the assisted living facility, The Aloha House is facing tough accusations about the quality of care she is giving her residents. The State is in the process of taking away the owner's license, and residents are caught right in the middle.
- The U.S. Supreme Court turned down Dexter Lee Vinson's petition to stop his execution. At 9 p.m. Vinson is expected to be executed by lethal injection for the killing of his former girlfriend in 1997.
