There are about 40-million people now enrolled in Medicare and about 77-million baby-boomers will be eligible by 2011.
Open enrollment for the Medicare drug plans begins on November 15th.
Every year from November 15 through December 31st anyone who is or isn't enrolled in a medicare prescription drug plan can either enroll for the first time or change the plan that you are currently on to a different plan.
"We always recommend to people, even if they are satisfied with their plan, to come in an let us at lease review your plan because every year the plans change," said Deborah Winslow of the Jefferson Area Board of Aging.
