Charlottesville Free Clinic Gets Financial Boost

April 16, 2008

The Charlottesville free clinic got a financial boost Wednesday, thanks to Anthem.

The community health facility was awarded a $15,000 grant. The clinic's director says over the years Anthem has provided more than $10 million in funding and all that money goes a long way.

Clinic officials say they are serving more patients and can use the money to cover the costs of prescription drugs.
