UVA Dean of Nursing to Ring Closing Bell

Nurses from the University of Virginia will be celebrating at NASDAQ this week, no matter which way the market moves.

On Friday, Dorrie Fontaine, Dean of the University of Virginia Nursing School will ring the Closing Bell in recognition of National Nurses Week.

"It is incredible. Ive been a nurse for three decades, a critical care nurse, and I've been in academia for the last 28 years, and believe me, this is going to be a thrill to celebrate and be a spokesman for the wonderful work we do here at the University of Virginia," says Dorrie Fontaine, Dean of Nursing at UVa.

A video celebrating nursing will also play at the NASDAQ market site tower in Times Square on the world's largest stationary video screen.
