A University of Virginia researcher, physician and the Dean of UVA's Medical School adds another distinction. He's appearing as a "Rock Star of Science" in the June issue of GQ magazine with such rock celebrities as Black-Eyed Peas member Will-I-Am and Sheryl Crow.

Dr. Steven Dekosky is being featured in a new public service campaign to spotlight the need for greater funding for medical research, and to make science a more attractive career choice.

Dr. Dekosky is an international expert in the field of Alzheimer's disease research.
