The number of people killed in America by the H1N1 virus is a lot higher than previously thought.
The Centers for Disease Control says 4,000 Americans have died from the virus.
That's three times more than the previous estimate, because health officials are now counting deaths caused by complications related to the flu.
The virus has hospitalized 40,000 people.
