From the waiting area to the exam room Revolution Health Center in Scottsville is taking a different approach to health care.
“The clinic was created to start to look at patients instead of a collection of diseases and symptoms as really a healthy individual that's being influenced and effected by their environment,” said Dr. Zachary Bush.
Using seeds, grains, and herbs, along with acupuncture and chiropractic care, Dr. Bush aims to treat more than just the symptoms.
“The goal of the clinic is to take a look at the patient. What are the things in their environment that are causing dysfunction and in that dysfunction where are the pieces of the puzzle we can start to reassemble a healthy individual and getting to the root cause disease?,” said Bush.
Whether it's diabetes, depression, or cancer, they will treat anyone in need.
“For those patients that are stuck on a lot of medication or those patients that are feeling they have not reached their optimal health through their current western medicine approach, this clinic offers some neat avenues,” said Bush.
Bush says it's not his goal to take patients away from other doctors, rather he'd like to be there as an additional resource to help people change their perception about their health.
