Ralph Nader To Speak at UVa

Environmental and political activist Ralph Nader will speak at the University of Virginia later this month, delivering an address focusing on the nation's energy policy.

Nader's appearance is set for the Newcomb Hall Ballroom on Monday, September 13 at 7pm. His presentation is entitled "Megawatts, Negawatts and You."

Nader is a former presidential candidate and an author and advocate on consumer issues.

The program is free and open to the public.

It is sponsored by People's Alliance for Clean Energy, Charlottesville Earth Week, Charlottesville Center for Peace & Justice, People United, Coalition to Preserve McIntire Park, Joyful Dissent, Food Not Bombs, & Central Virginia Socialist Party.
