Hurt, Perriello Agree to Another One-on-One Televised Debate

September 8, 2010

State Senator Robert Hurt (R) and Congressman Tom Perriello (D) have agreed to a third one-on-one televised debate in Roanoke.

The newly scheduled debate will take place on Wednesday, October 13 at 6pm and will be aired live on WSLS-TV.

“I look forward to adding yet another debate to our schedule this fall,” said Robert Hurt. “These debates will serve as one more avenue to show voters that, come November, they will have a clear choice between two very distinct candidates."

This is now the third televised debate scheduled between 5th District challenger Robert Hurt and Congressman Tom Perriello. The second debate will be held on October 19 at Piedmont Virginia Community College at 7pm airing on the Newsplex stations, which include CBS19 and ABC16. The third debate will be held on October 21 at 7pm airing on WSET and WVIR.
