(AP) Both parties' front-runners in the presidential race are making campaign appearances in Virginia over the next few days, with the primary election set for Tuesday.
Some details of campaign appearances are still being worked out. Republican John McCain is in Norfolk today. The U.S. Senator from Arizona is scheduled to hold a National Security Roundtable with Virginia Senator John Warner and others.
Both Democratic candidates, Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, will speak Saturday night at the Virginia Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner in Richmond.
Clinton is also planning to campaign in Roanoke and Manassas on Sunday, and is scheduled to speak to Professor Larry Sabato's American politics class at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville on Monday.
