Albemarle County Reports Voter Turnout

February 12, 2008

As of 7:00 p.m., when the polls closed, 22,953 people had voted in Albemarle County in Tuesday's primary.

16,417 (or 26.29% of the county’s eligible voters) voting in the Democratic primary and 6536 (or 10.46% of the county’s eligible voters) voting in the Republican primary, for a total turnout of 36.7% total.
