Former GOP presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani pitched in and headlined a fund-raiser for Senator John McCain Thursday, when the Arizona lawmaker was called back to Washington for a vote.
Giuliani said he believes McCain can win Pennsylvania because of his appeal to Independents and Democrats.
"This is a labor of real commitment and love because John is a good friend, and he's someone that I believe will be great president. I believed that when I was running for president, I think I announced at one debate if I weren't running and I would be supporting John McCain. Well, I'm not running and I'm supporting John McCain," said Giuliani.
When asked about his potential as a McCain runningmate, or the possibility of a McCain-Romney ticket, Giuliani said the choice is up to McCain and he's sure he'll make a very good choice.
