McCain Calls Obama Comments Patronizing

April 14, 2008

Speaking at an annual Associated press meeting in Washington, D.C. Republican presidential candidate John McCain called Obama's comments elitist and out of touch.

McCain said that the comments were not his vision of America and were patronizing.

"I think that anybody who disparages people who are hard working, honest,
dedicated people I think that's a fundamental contradiction of what I believe America is all about," said McCain.
