Republican Jim Gilmore continues his campaign for the Virginia Senate, and attacks Mark Warner, the Democrat.
Gilmore called Democratic foe Mark Warner an "elite limousine liberal" and "piranha" hungry for tax money during a speech to a small crowd at the Capitol on Tuesday morning.
Former governor Gilmore repeatedly hit Warner for breaking a 2001 campaign promise by raising taxes $1.4 billion.
Gilmore says Warner is out of touch with working families whose
finances are being wrecked by $4 a gallon gasoline.
Gilmore's kickoff tour also includes stops Tuesday in Norfolk
and Prince William.
