The director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics has made his first predictions for November's Presidential Election.
Larry Sabato looks into his crystal ball to give a state-by-state breakdown of the electorate.
Taking just the states that are likely to vote Democrat and likely to vote Republican, Sabato says Barack Obama leads by about 26 electoral votes.
Also, as most analysts expect, Sabato's map has Virginia squarely in the toss-up category.
The political analyst says the electoral map is due for some changes this general election, after what he calls a remarkably static red and blue divide in the 2000 and 2004 campaigns.
