Obama's Virginia Campaign Opens An Office in Charlottesville

July 17, 2008

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s Virginia campaign announced on Thursday that they will be opening twenty offices across the Commonwealth.

The office in Charlottesville will be located on the Downtown Mall, in the old A&N building.

The offices will celebrate their grand openings Saturday with open houses, followed by door-to-door canvassing.

Obama's campaign says the scope of the office openings is unprecedented in the history of Democratic presidential campaigns in Virginia. Office will be in cities like Richmond, Norfolk, Fairfax and Charlottesville, and there will also be campaign centers in Castlewood, Martinsville, Danville and Winchester.
