No Tickets Left for Obama Event in Lynchburg

August 19, 2008

All the tickets have been distributed for Wednesday's town hall discussion in Lynchburg featuring Presidential Candidate Barack Obama and Senator Jim Webb.

Obama will speak at EC Glass High School. The event is scheduled to begin at around 6:30.

Earlier in the day Obama will join Senate Candidate and former Governor Mark Warner in Martinsville. The presidential candidate will meet with workers to discuss jobs and the economy.

Obama's trip to Virginia comes as speculation grows over his choice for a running mate. Many pundits believe Obama will name his Vice President candidate before the end of the week.

Virginia Governor Tim Kaine is among the names believed to be on Obama's short list. Also mentioned as possible running mates are Deleware Senator Joe Biden, and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
