August 20, 2008

Presidential hopeful Barack Obama will be in Lynchburg Wednesday afternoon, speaking at the E.C. Glass High School. Obama is expected to tout his plan for America's economy. Tickets for the town hall meeting sold out quickly.

Meanwhile, Obama's choice for Vice-Presidential candidate will soon become public.

His campaign says he will announce his VP choice Friday, and the two will appear at a Saturday rally in Springfield, Illinois. That's the same city where Obama launched his presidential campaign.

We have a reporter on the scene at Obama's town hall meeting in Lynchburg. Stay tuned to CBS19 News at 5, 6, 6:30, and ABC 16 News at 7:00 pm for live coverage.
