Former Republican Presidential hopeful Ron Paul says he will not endorse John McCain.
The Texas Congressman said he got a call from the McCain campaign Wednesday, asking for his support, but he turned them down.
Instead, Paul suggested voters back third party candidates.
CBS19 spoke with the UVa Center for Politics and they say, while it would have helped McCain to have Ron Paul's endorsement, it won't cost him a state like Virginia.
Ralph Nader is running as an independent and former Georgia congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is at the top of the Green Party ticket.
