Students gathered at the Barack Obama Campaign for Change Office on the UVA Corner Thursday.

It was a chance for them to meet a few celebrities who are campaigning for Obama, including Marlon Wayans, Jurnee Smollett, and Tatyana Ali.

They made it their job to encourage students to register to vote, and mingled with students after speaking.

"Its of the utmost importance that we get every single person registered to vote, that we get people fired up about this election, and let them know that their vote does count. Every single vote counts," said Actress Tatyana Ali.

The three celebrities briefly talked about key issues in the election and stressed how important it is to vote in the Commonwealth, especially since it's considered a battleground state this election.
