Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine is heading into McCain country this weekend to stump for Barack Obama.
Kaine will make appearances Sunday on behalf of the Democratic presidential candidate in Colorado and Arizona, the home state of Republican nominee John McCain.
The first event is an economic roundtable in Loveland, Colorado. From there, Kaine will head to the Phoenix Convention Center for the Arizona Democratic Party Hall of Fame Dinner.
Kaine was one of Obama's earliest supporters for president. The Illinois senator considered Kaine for his running mate before choosing Sen. Joe Biden.
