Another Democrat VIP is stumping through the Commonwealth--New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
Richardson is a former Democratic candidate vying for the White House. Now, he's rallying crowds for his former rival.
The Governor spoke Friday morning at Charlottesville High School, touting Senator Obama's key talking points: taxes, the war in Iraq, healthcare, and education.
"His economic message, Senator Obama's appeal to bring the country together, [and] his bipartisanship is playing well here, and so I've been sent to campaign in various cities in Virginia to see If we can help not just narrow the gap, but possibly win by a narrow margin which would be unheard of," explained Gov. Bill Richardson, (D) New Mexico.
A couple hundred Obama supporters showed up to the town hall.
